Ralph: how to romance them in Shakespeare's Code

Verdict: the top price in the story

Ralph costs 1345 diamonds, a little more than Edward at 1311 and well above Edmund at 1093. Out of 32 steps, only 4 are free. He's also the route with the heaviest middle: Season 2 is 711 diamonds, more than Seasons 1 and 3 put together.

Where the bill comes from

• Season 1, Episode 5: "Obey." and "Until.." — 72 each, 144 for one episode.
• Season 2, Episode 6: "New Outfit" and "Try to tempt Ralph." at 73 each, plus "Stay." for 47. That's 193 diamonds, the priciest episode of the route.
• Season 2, Episode 10: one 101-diamond choice, next to "Tend to Ralph." for 28.
• Season 2, Episode 8: four choices, 45 + 45 + 21 + 21.

Season 3 is calmer, 215 diamonds, with "Delve into Ralph's past." for 65 in Episode 8 as the biggest one.

How I'd play it

Pay Season 1 as you go, except Episode 5: that pair goes on my Diamond Rush list. In Season 2, I'd keep Episodes 6 and 10 on separate save slots for the Rush too, and skip the outfit if it's only the look you're paying for. If 1345 is out of reach, Abraham costs 643 and Hobello 450.
