Romance Club has a lot of love interests, and some of them carry over from book to book: Lucifer, for one, has a route in both Heaven's Secret and Heaven's Secret 2. Search understands both the name and the story title. Each love interest has his own page: who he is, how to start a romance with him, what his route costs, and how it ends.

See who the fandom swoons over

Lucifer from Heaven's Secret is the face of the series. The studio itself ran a quiz on how many of his red flags you'd ignore, and players keep replaying his route anyway.

Close behind in the comment wars:

• Cain across the Heaven's Secret books — “extremely protective” is the usual verdict, though some readers say he got boring later on;
• Amen from Song of the Crimson Nile — one of his scenes gets called the most romantic in the game, and he has cosplayers, but also a vocal group of skeptics;
• Declan from Waterlily — he has a paid look with a bonus scene, and his rivalry with Fabian is a favorite topic of its own;
• Doran from Kali — Flame of Samsara and Walter from Soulless, whom his fans call their “beefy green flag.”

And then there are the anti-favorites. Tristan from 7 Brothers, Malbonte and Andy from Heaven's Secret get talked about just as much, only in very different words. Kamal splits the Kali crowd: some can't resist him, others can't forgive him for deciding things behind Devi's back.

Check the priciest routes before you commit

A route is the sum of many paid choices, and over a long story it adds up fast. These are the most expensive romances in the stories covered here, counted across all released seasons:

Numbers like these are why I play the heaviest routes during Diamond Rush, when every diamond choice is free. A route that costs several hundred diamonds in an ordinary week costs nothing over a Rush weekend.

Find the routes you can mostly walk for free

Some romances move forward mainly on free options, and the paid choices on them add a scene rather than decide the route. These routes have the highest share of free romance steps:

Don't pay for the whole route

A route is made of dozens of choices, but in my experience a handful of forks decide it. Each love interest's page shows which paid choices move the romance and which only add a picture. I pay for the first kind and skip the second — or leave everything expensive for Diamond Rush.

Looks are a separate question. Some of them unlock a bonus scene with a love interest, and since the October 3, 2026 update the info icon on a look explains what the scene is and how it affects the story. Check it before you buy.

Can't choose between two? Use a second slot

Save slots hold several playthroughs of the same story on one device. That's handy when a story has two love interests and you don't want to give up either: each one gets his own playthrough, no mixing routes. Since October 3, 2026 a slot can also be duplicated, so the second route can branch off right where the two split.
