Eli costs 74 diamonds over 4 steps, and one step is free. The story is still coming out, with 4 episodes released, so this is the price of the route so far, not the final bill. Nothing on it goes above 30.

Episode 4 has no step toward him.

How I'd play it

I'd just pay: 74 diamonds for a whole route is a price you can cover as you go. Episode 1 is the priciest one so far, 44 diamonds for the two flare choices, so if your stash is empty at the start, keep that episode on a separate save slot for Diamond Rush and come back to it.
