A finished detective story with long, expensive routes

The Missing is complete: three seasons, 30 episodes, with intimate scenes. The studio warns about graphic crime-scene descriptions and serious child neglect. It's a detective thriller set in Denmark, on the island of Funen. The heroine leaves Copenhagen for the countryside with a new partner and starts getting the case under control, while Safaa heads to the lab and leaves her to chase fresh leads alone.

Three love interests, and all of them are long-haul

A route is made of romance steps, the choices that move a romance forward. Here every route runs to double digits.

Yasin, a Syrian-born resident of Sønder Esne: 28 steps, 11 free, 794 diamonds. Mads, Mads Lauritzen, the heroine's colleague: 27 steps, 12 free, 793 diamonds. Kuno, from Season 2: 23 steps, 8 free, 855 diamonds.

Yasin and Mads are just one diamond apart, and Kuno costs only about 60 more, so pick by heart. The free steps carry more than a third of each route, which softens the bill, but you'll still need to save across all three seasons.

Keep the finale for Rush

220 of the 578 choices are paid, and buying all of them would run to 14,335 diamonds. Season 3 is the heaviest at 6,219.

The finale, "Blood" (Season 3, Episode 10), is a monster: 43 choices, 18 of them paid, up to 1,308 diamonds. "Mother of the North" (Season 2, Episode 1, up to 730) and "Tear You Apart" (Season 3, Episode 6, up to 699) come next.

I'd pay for my love interest's steps as I go and play the finale during Diamond Rush, when paid choices are free in every story.
