David: how to romance them in Astrea's Broken Heart

Verdict: second most expensive, heaviest at the end

David costs 758 diamonds, 19 less than Raphael at 777. Five of his 18 steps are free. The cost grows each season, 213, 226 and 319, and the two biggest choices are both in Season 3.

Where the diamonds go

Season 1 starts with "Don't move away." for 26 in Episode 2 and "I do." for 70 in Episode 3. Episode 7 has "Suggest he try to take the button away." for 66, and Episode 10 has "Kiss David on the cheek." for 28.

Season 2:

• Episode 5, Underwater: "Please help me." — 72, next to the free "Accept his help."
• Episode 2, No More Mercy: "A kiss." — 63.
• Episode 7: "Better lock the door." — 46.
• Episode 1: "Stop him." — 45.

Season 3:

• Episode 1, Martyr: "Yes." — 157.
• Episode 4, The Book of the Apocalypse: "Visit him." — 101.
• Episodes 10 and 11: 28 and 33.

How I'd play it

Seasons 1 and 2 have nothing above 72, so I'd pay them as I go on a separate save slot. In Season 3, Episodes 1 and 4 go on my Diamond Rush list: 258 diamonds you don't have to buy. Compare with Cassiel at 519 or Raphael.
