Onyx: how to romance them in W: Time Catcher

Verdict: cheap start, very expensive finish

Onyx costs 970 diamonds, the top price in W: Time Catcher; Lucien is next at 595. The route is two different stories. Season 1 is 58 diamonds with 8 free steps, and Season 2 is 181. Then Season 3 asks for 731, three quarters of the whole route.

Where the diamonds go

Season 1 opens with the free "Is attractive." and "Tease." for 23 in Episode 2, Shelter. Most of the season is free choices, several of them simply picking "Onyx."

Season 2 has "Onyx… Stay. Please." and "Onyx… Let's talk. Please." at 65 each in Episode 8, The Theft, and "Yes…" for 32 in Episode 10.

Season 3 is where the bill lands:

• Episode 8, The Lance of the Killer: "A show for them.." for 145, a 105-diamond choice and "With Renato." for 45. That's 295 in one episode.
• Episode 5, The Touch: "Let's take a break." and "All of us deserve a long break." — 98 each.
• Episode 3, The Stars: "Yes, please." — 70.

How I'd play it

Pay Seasons 1 and 2 as you go, 239 diamonds in total. For Season 3, keep a separate save slot and put Episodes 5 and 8 on the Diamond Rush list: that's 491 diamonds. If 970 is too much, Shen costs 563 and Jorge 228.
