Verdict: affordable, no choice above 70
Shen costs 563 diamonds, a little less than Lucien at 595 and far below Onyx at 970. Almost half his steps are free, 11 of 23, and the top price is 70. Seasons 1 and 2 cost about 110 each; Season 3 is the expensive part at 343.
Where the diamonds go
The route starts in Season 1, Episode 1 with "Speak your mind." for 18 and the free "Thank Shen." Season 1, Episode 3 has "Don't mind going with you." for 70, the season's only big choice. Episode 6 adds "Reached for the door handle at the same time as Shen." for 23.
Season 2 is cheap: "Put your hand on the middle seat." for 10 and "Plunged into the kiss." for 67 in Episode 6, then "And hugged him tightly." for 32 in Episode 10.
Season 3:
- Episode 3: "Yes, please." — 70.
- Episode 11, Blizzard: "I'd never say no to that!" — 70.
- Episode 1, The House: "Tell me." — 64.
- Episode 9: one choice for 64.
- Episode 4: "We could have some tea?" — 49.
How I'd play it
Pay Seasons 1 and 2 as you go: 220 diamonds over two seasons. In Season 3, every paid step is 26 to 70, so I'd keep a separate slot and move the two 70s to Diamond Rush. Compare with Lucien or Renato at 545.
